Offaly Inter School Sportshall Athletics Competitions

FAST KIDS in conjunction with Offaly Sports Partnership stages inter schools Sportshall Athletic competitions each December for primary schools in Co. Offaly.

In 2008 the first such competition was held and six schools competed (see 2008 press release and results). Up to 20 schools will participate in five clustered competitions in 2009 and a training programme is underway within these schools. This and future competitions will follow the format used for Sportshall team competitions in the UK (see www.sportshall.org).

Once the primary format has been successfully established in Co. Offaly we will look at introducing Sportshall Secondary.
